As Marketing Assistant you will assist in the continual promotion of Eurofins Clinical Testing through the organisation and delivery of specific marketing campaigns, directed at external customers or Interco partners. You will use marketing, press and social media platforms to increase customer awareness of the Eurofins offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Build a calendar for the continual promotion of the business across the different areas of testing competence and the categories of interest;
- Use LinkedIn and other social media platforms to increase and maintain awareness of Eurofins offer to the UK market;
- Lead the writing of PR material for the UK market, increase relationships and awareness with the relevant UK industry press;
- Create adverts, videos and other visual marketing materials;
- Keep local website content up to date using SEO techniques;
- Support the collation of content, generate final copy and issue customer electronic mailshots and newsletters;
- Identify opportunities for business promotion including via print, online, events and sponsorship channels;
- Ensure high quality content is continually collected from technical and/or sales personnel for the delivery of the above;
- Liaise with the central marketing team to ensure a consistent message goes to customers in line with Eurofins brand requirements;
- Attend trade fairs and other networking opportunities to promote Eurofins;
- Assist the team in making proposals and presentations for new and existing customers to engage their interest in the Eurofins;
- Anticipate and identify customers’ needs and build appropriate sales materials for use by the sales and accounts team;
- Provide reports and data as requested by management;
- Keep up to date with current techniques and services available within Eurofins to promote effectively to clients;
- Develop and maintain high quality relationships with the rest of the UK team to ensure clarity of communication in all directions;
- Use CRM systems, Microsoft Office, role‑specific systems for design and website management, and the ability to learn Eurofins specific systems.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level;
- Practical knowledge in a range of marketing activities including content creation, creative design, website maintenance, SEO, LinkedIn and executing marketing campaigns;
- Experience in B2B marketing;
- Experience using creative software, website content management systems and social media;
- Content generation and proofreading skills;
- Effective written and oral communication skills;
- High level of attention to detail;
- Ability to communicate to different levels within the business;
- Self‑starter, organised and able to manage own workload in a timely and effective manner.
