The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

35 Hours per week. Monday - Friday. 9.00am - 5.00pm. 1–2 days working from home per week.

Purpose of the post

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of a portfolio of Insight/Home-Based User studies.

The role will include working as a management lead reporting to the Project Manager.

Roles within the department include leading and overseeing (often liaising with dedicated Sales & Accounts team) on the design, planning and execution of home-based user studies.

Main Duties

  • Lead the Insight Department in the design and execution of home-based user studies in residential settings.
  • Develop and manage study protocols, participant recruitment and electronic informed consent.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales & Accounts Executives, Finance/ Administration department, Data Management & Statistical Analysis Team and Technical department to deliver an exception customer offer.
  • Oversee logistics for home-based testing, including scheduling and on time delivery of products and reporting.
  • Analysis qualitative and quantitative data from studies and generate insights to inform product design and development for external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, especially for studies involving medication or regulated products.
  • Develop departmental processes, best practices and training materials.
  • Serve as one of the businesses subject matter expert on home-based user trial research methods and techniques.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Insight Department and cross functional departments.
  • Clearly communicate study goals and timelines of studies.
  • Collaborate with external vendors who provide and aid logistics and software for the department.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the Insight Department team member(s).
  • Partner with the Project Manager to prioritise research activities based on strategic goals and development timelines.
  • Define and uphold standards for study design, participant experience, data quality and reporting across all research activities.
  • Be responsible, alongside the department Project Manager for performance metrics and KPI’s.
  • Alongside the department Project Manager identify and address service delivery bottlenecks or risks, such as participant non-compliance, study delays, or data integrity issues.
  • Ensure all home user studies are conducted in compliance with internal protocols, regulatory requirement, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience in professional writing.
  • Awareness of GCP (Good Clinical Practice).
  • IT literate
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) experience
  • Strong attention to detail to identify errors and refine documents for clarity and precision.
