Eurofins Environment Testing is hiring a 2nd shift Chemist in our Metals Department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain instrumentation
- Tune and calibrate instrument daily
- Analyze quality control and client samples
- Review and assemble data in an efficient manner with a high degree of quality
- Evaluate current organizational and analytical systems
- Suggest and implement the necessary corrective action to ensure alignment with client and/or regulatory requirements
- Perform all duties with minimal supervision
Role is Monday to Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm. Training will be Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or another related discipline, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major).
- Previous experience in a lab setting, ideally with ICP-OES or ICP-MS.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience with IPC-OES or ICP-MS.
- Previous metals experience in a lab setting.
