Job Description
- Calibration of RF and EMC test equipment in the frequency range of 9 kHz to 40 GHz
- Undertake investigations of equipment that has failed calibration and effect repairs where appropriate
- Carry out and supervise calibrations for customers at their premises
- Achieve and maintain the relevant competence levels
- Perform validation and verification work as required
- Creation and maintenance of calibration procedures
- Perform calibration development work under supervision of the Calibration Laboratory Manager
- Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025 / ISO 9001 as appropriate
- Perform any other duties which may be reasonably expected of the post holder
- Mentor and/or supervise calibrations carried out by other calibration staff where appropriate
- Ensure that the engineer carries out their duties in accordance with all Eurofins ETC policies, procedures and processes, including, but not limited to, the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974)
Qualifications
- HNC/Degree Electronics (or above)
- Significant work experience in Electronics (Design or Manufacturing)
- Previous RF calibration experience within a UKAS calibration lab (Desirable, but not essential)
