We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our fantastic Workplace Drug Testing (WDT) Sales team based out of our Midlands site in Tamworth. If you are passionate about a rewarding career in Forensic testing and want to use your expertise to its full potential, then this is a great opportunity to join a well-established and successful market leading company with over 30 years’ experience in providing Forensic Services to the Police forces of England and Wales, as well as other commercial organisations and public sector bodies.

This position is a 9‑month maternity cover, with an ideal start date of 4th May to allow for a smooth handover and onboarding period. There is also the possibility for the contract to be extended, depending on business needs. The role is hybrid, based primarily at our Tamworth office, with a requirement to work on site with customers when needed. The successful candidate will be expected to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week, unless travelling for customer visits. Remote working is available for the remaining days, in line with business requirements.

As a Sales Executive, you will contribute to growth of the company through client acquisitions, cross‑selling opportunities, customer retention, new contract opportunities and potential tenders with the ultimate aim and objective to increase customer sales.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be expected to drive new customer acquisition, be comfortable with cold calling and be comfortable presenting to customers on technical topics. They will need to understand the service USPs and how these link to customer’s own business requirements, and be accountable for achieving growth and meeting sales targets by successfully undertaking business development activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales roles in a B2B environment, along with a demonstrable track record of successful delivery of sales targets. The candidate must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and possess the competence and team spirit to support others and contribute to a positive culture. Additional Information

Due to the highly sensitive nature of the work, applicants should note that security clearance is required for this role. To gain security clearance you must have five years continuous residency in the UK. Security clearance is undertaken by a third party to police personnel vetting standards (NPPV3 and SC), and any criminal convictions may prevent you from gaining security clearance.
