Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labelling is accurate.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. This is a hybrid working role with regular visits required to the Grimsby site. Regular travel within the region will be required to meet clients and develop relationships. The role will cover a regional sales area across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. The position is well suited to candidates living within approximately 50 miles of Grimsby, including (but not limited to) Scarborough, York, Doncaster, Lincoln, and Boston.
As a Sales Executive you will play a key role in supporting our business development activity in the local area. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their sales career or with limited commercial experience who is keen to learn and progress within a supportive team. You will work closely with experienced colleagues who will support your development and help you build a solid foundation in sales.
You will be responsible for business development activities such as:
- Local market screening
- Determining pursuit targets
- Engaging prospects and developing sales leads
- Conducting client meetings/calls
- Preparing quotations
Job Responsibilities:
- Grow and develop the Food Microbiology and Chemistry sectors by working with colleagues across the business to ensure we can offer the right testing methods and grow Eurofins’ reputation.
- Conduct market screening and maintain lists of pursuit targets and prospects.
- Reach out to prospects and develop sales leads, capturing leads and market intelligence in CRM.
- Organise and conduct sales calls, meetings and customer presentations.
- Prepare quotes and present them to clients.
- Engage relevant stakeholders and resources to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction (NPS score) once onboarded to the business.
- Provide recommendations for marketing activities.
Qualifications:
- Has an interest in sales, food, science, or business (experience not essential)
- Motivated, organised and keen to learn
- Enjoys speaking with people and building relationships
- Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
