The purpose of this job is to support the operation and development of the Chemistry department. Please note this is a full-time role working 39 hours a week - Monday to Friday (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 09:00 - 17:15 and Wednesday 09:00-17:30).
Chemistry testing biopharma products to include:
- Method verifications
- Method transfers
- Method development
Support the resolution of any quality issues. Communicate with clients and attend client meetings. Write and review exceptions. Be responsible for Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA). Support equipment calibration, qualification, and maintenance. Support self-inspections. Support client audits and regulatory inspections. Propose and implement continuous improvements. Delivery of chemistry training.
Qualifications
- Understanding of GMP
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Quality consciousness with the ability to consistently work to industry standards
- Experienced working in a Chemistry role, in a GMP/GLP environment
- Degree in Life Science
