Overview
A Research Manager is the primary contact for client communication before, during, and after projects and owns and delivers full research projects.
Responsibilities
- Client Management: Direct contact for communication before, during, and after projects; may be a Key Account Manager (KAM) for one or a few clients.
- Project Management: Autonomous management, implementation, and coordination of complex research projects; taking client briefs and writing study proposals; propose appropriate methodologies and research approaches; prepare estimates for ad hoc studies; contribute in negotiating contracts or specifications; ensure projects meet objectives, delivered on time and within budget; ensure project work meets agreed quality standards; report writing with storytelling; presentation of results with recommendations; moderation of some expert panel sessions; responsible for panel performance; ensuring ongoing activities adhere to the company's strategic guidelines.
- Revenue: Share feedback with managers on client needs and potential revenue risks.
- People: Close collaboration with Data Solutions Hub; work closely with sensory and research teams and the fieldwork team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in market research and/or sensory research.
- Knowledge of food and/or personal care/OTC pharma products, quantitative and qualitative consumer research methodologies, sensory methodologies, and statistics.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Rigorous, responsive, and proactive.
- Strong organisational and planning skills that ensure work is effectively prioritised to meet deadlines.
