We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join our fantastic team at our site based in Midlands. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Liaise directly with customer Key Stakeholders to understand and deliver the customer requirements
  • Achieve divisional and company sales targets
  • Develop and drive sector sales strategies
  • Increase sales/profitability from existing and new accounts
  • Provide reporting and analysis
  • Maintain accurate customer records
  • Prepare complex commercial proposals in liaison with operational colleagues
  • Assist with Operational delivery when required.
Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a proven background in Key Account Management within a B2B environment, combined with a demonstrable track record of sales growth and commercial acumen. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, a solid understanding of selling scientific products and services, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software. While experience in workplace drug testing and commercial procurement is desirable, it’s not essential. A scientific background or education would also be an advantage.

The right candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and driven to exceed customer expectations. They will be a strategic thinker who takes ownership, promotes the voice of the customer, and fosters a positive culture through collaboration and strong interpersonal skills. A willingness to travel is essential, and a team-oriented mindset with integrity and a customer-focused attitude sits at the heart of everything we do at EFS.

Additional Information

Due to the sensitive nature of our work, this role will require the successful candidate to achieve NPPV3 + Security Clearance (SC). To be eligible, you must have 5 years’ continuous UK residency. As part of the vetting process, you’ll be asked to provide information about your background, including your employment and address history, financial circumstances and details of close family or partners. These checks are carried out to ensure individuals accessing police data, systems and sites are trustworthy and suitable for the role.

Factors such as criminal convictions, financial difficulties or associations that may pose a risk could affect your ability to gain clearance. However, each application is assessed on an individual basis, and honesty throughout the process is essential.
