Job Details

  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
  • Employment Type: Full‑time

Purpose of the Post

Act as an interface between the sales team, the end customer and the testing laboratory in the processing of samples, reporting and interpretation of test reports in the Cosmetics & Personal Care Business Unit.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of allocated samples/projects from sales handover to test report creation and issue to the client, including physical sample checking, shipping preparation, lab liaison, and communication.
  • Apply knowledge of various testing processes to support customer requests and relevant legislation.
  • Support the business unit in delivering customer needs and requirements.
  • Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
  • Stay up to date with Eurofins network labs capabilities, expertise and ways of working to ensure efficient processes.
  • Create and maintain appropriate report templates for booked tests, legislation and standard changes.
  • Achieve set KPIs, including on‑time report delivery, report accuracy and customer feedback.
  • Assist the business in applying best practice and interpretation of results.
  • Build positive relationships and ensure good communication with all relevant Eurofins network laboratories; attend and contribute to lab calls and elevate issues when required.
  • Generate client‑specific reports with conclusions of high technical quality.
  • Understand costing information in the LIMS system and react when something appears incorrect.
  • May be required to work outside normal hours to meet customer requirements, with prior manager agreement.

Qualifications

  • Level 3, A level or equivalent plus 2 years practical work experience in a customer‑facing business role.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office packages and/or LIMS.
  • High level of attention to detail and evidence of organised planning and prioritisation.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
