Job Description: The Project Manager I (PM I) coordinates and manages client projects through all laboratory phases, from project set‑up and client communication to invoicing and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Review and set up projects in LIMS and Total Access.
- Coordinate project kick‑off calls with clients and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate client information in LIMS and manage associated documentation.
- Communicate analytical issues and project progress to clients.
- Prepare and distribute client‑specific reports, ensuring correct format and data quality.
- Oversee invoicing, billing, and collections, including preparing credit/debit memos.
- Liaise with operations, QA, and subcontractors to schedule work and confirm capacity.
- Maintain client records, including terms, credit limits, and account status.
- Identify and engage external lab partners and subcontractors as needed.
- Provide technical support and resolve client queries and complaints.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Chemistry or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of environmental project management experience.
- Client‑relationship and customer‑service experience.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and experience with LIMS.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Full‑time availability Monday‑Friday, first shift.
- Live within a commutable distance to Portsmouth, NH.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction.
