The Tribe
The Straight-Through-Processing tribe contributes to the division strategy by delivering and supporting, through agile practices, cost-effective time-to-market solutions for the domain of STP communication flows (transactional flows, information flows, reporting, CRM).
We are looking for a Test Analyst to join the STP “Use the Product” Squad, which offers the opportunity to support the delivery of initiatives across the Organisation that impact our Communication layer – meaning, most of them!
The Test Analyst:
- Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Tests and integrates new and/or updated complex software functionality.
- Analyzes test requirements and designs the corresponding test products (environment setup, test scenarios, test scripts, test tools, etc.).
- Drafts, revises, and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy.
- Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.
- Implements or supervises the implementation of these test products (writes test scripts).
- Conducts or supervises the execution of tests and evaluates the test results.
- Provides support to the Feature Delivery Owner or Test Team Leader on overall project testing guidance and planning.
- Coordinates with users to plan user acceptance testing.
- Ensures that system tests are successfully completed, documented, and that all problems are resolved.
- Contributes to or manages the deployment preparation and execution for both Pre-Production and Production until the end of the warranty period.
Work is not closely supervised but is governed by standardized procedures that permit initiative.
You are:
- An experienced tester capable of autonomously testing and integrating new and/or updated complex software functionality, familiar with relevant testing tools, technologies, and processes, and able to quickly understand the applications/systems being tested.
- Able to demonstrate your ability to learn ICT technologies.
- Able to adapt easily to new circumstances, technologies, and procedures.
- Able to summarize complex technical situations simply.
