Division: Product Strategy & Innovation (PSI) - CBS Team: PSI Market Product Management, Europe, UK

Role Purpose

Drive the EUI product value proposition, fully aligned with the Euroclear group strategy; Provide strategic product leadership across Market Product Management team, PSI team and EUI Chief Business Officers (CBO) and Operations teams; Act as the senior product expert on the UK CSD landscape, partnering closely with commercial teams; Represent EUI externally on product topics, adapting messaging to different client segments (custodians, broker dealers, issuers, CCPs…); Ensure strong alignment across the European and UK Market Product Management team.

Key responsibilities

  • Product leadership & market representation
    • Provide thought leadership on CSD products to internal and external stakeholders
    • Represent EUI in industry forums, conferences and trade associations
    • Promote and articulate the EUI product strategy to clients, investors, issuers and regulators
    • Support client and regulatory due diligence activities
  • Product strategy, roadmap & commercial ownership
    • Own and drive the European CSD product roadmap, aligned with growth and strategic objectives
    • Steward product commercial performance (P&L, tariffs, funding)
    • Collaborate with CBO and pricing teams on client pricing and commercial decisions
    • Participate in commercial forums, deal reviews and strategic discussions
  • Client engagement & value delivery
    • Deeply understand client segments (issuers, investors) and their evolving needs
    • Support the business in new products, enhancements and gap remediation
    • Challenge and address client dissatisfaction where relevant
    • Translate client needs into prioritised product roadmap requirements
    • Act as sponsor to ensure timely delivery of key product initiatives
    • Own the identification and resolution of client pain points linked to product gaps
    • Provide active RFP support across all EUI product capabilities
  • Market intelligence & competitive positioning
    • Monitor market trends, competitors and industry developments
    • Work closely with strategy and commercial teams to identify new opportunities
  • Product design & delivery
    • Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Architecture teams
    • Validate product design and target operating models
    • Ensure successful delivery and rollout of solutions to clients
  • Risk, governance & controls
    • Own product-related risks and their resolution
    • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, translating them into product impacts
    • Partner with Legal on client agreements and deviations
    • Manage audit actions related to EUI products
  • Vendor & stakeholder management
    • Manage relationships with vendors supporting EUI products and services
    • Oversee vendor performance and rate structures
  • Operations & cross-functional collaboration
    • Partner with Operations to address issues linked to product gaps
    • Work across teams to ensure consistency between product design and operational execution
  • Team leadership
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product managers
    • Directly manage the EUI Market Product Manager
    • Promote the product management function across the Group

Required competencies

  • Experience & expertise: Master’s degree, 10+ years’ experience in Securities Services, Product or Commercial leadership roles, Strong track record in product management
  • Leadership & collaboration: Ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally; Comfortable operating in a highly cross-functional environment; Strong team player, able to mobilise and motivate teams
  • Execution & delivery: Strong focus on delivery and results, with discipline in tracking progress and execution; Ability to deliver against complex and fast-paced product roadmaps
  • Change & innovation: Proven ability to drive transformation and innovation; Comfortable navigating change in a dynamic environment
  • Communication & impact: Excellent communication skills across all audiences; Ability to build trust, align stakeholders and represent EUI externally
  • People management: Experience mentoring and developing talent; Focus on team engagement, growth and wellbeing
