Your role
Maintain existing systems related to cryptography
Advise and assist other teams with their cryptographic needs
Resolve incidents related to cryptography
Participate in Watch Duty rotation to respond to production issues (approximately 1 day per week)
Mandatory Technical Skills
Familiarity with Azure products, especially key and secret management
Familiarity with Ansible or other automation tool
Understanding of practical aspects of PKI and cryptography (., X.509, elliptic curve cryptography, post quantum cryptography)
Awareness of common cryptographic protocols (CMS, SCEP, ACME, SAML, TLS, etc) and their applications
Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Powershell, or Java preferred)
Nice to Haves
Broad range of experience across the IT industry
Comfort with black box debugging tools such as Microsoft ETW, Linux strace, tcpdump, wireshark, etc
Experience administering Linux or Windows systems
Soft Skills
Strong English language skill with both written and spoken communication (C1 or better)
Comfortable working with a team and asking for and providing help when needed
Self-directed problem-solving attitude
Excitement to learn new skills as needed
Motivation to identify and resolve pain points
BS degree or equivalent experience
