Your Role
As a Windows Care Engineer, you will provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Windows servers (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, and later) in a complex and hybrid infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
As a Windows Care Engineer, you will:
- Handle requests, incidents, problems, and changes across both Production and Non-Production environments
- Manage network shares, backups, restores, and related infrastructure components
- Contribute to strategic infrastructure projects and roadmap planning
- Apply Microsoft security patches using Ansible and other automation tools
- Participate in on-call support outside business hours for Production systems (Watch Duty rotation)
- Weekend work as part of a scheduled rotation
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in PowerShell and knowledges of Ansible
- Good knowledges of Microsoft Patch Management solutions (WSUS, Windows Updates, Azure Update Manager)
- Experience with Windows Server (2012–2022+) in virtualized environments (., VMware)
- Solid understanding of Group Policy, File Servers, Active Directory, Networker, Cohesity, DNS, NAS, and SAN
- Familiarity with clustering solutions (., Failover Cluster, Always On) and server hardware (., HP, Vblock)
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
