DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure Designer & Delivery Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Endorse the role of Ops Engineer supporting Development teams.
• Ensure business applications are optimally coordinated on Euroclear infrastructure (on premise and on cloud) by designing and implementing solutions that meet application requirements, security and infrastructure requirements and standards.
• Take full ownership of deliveries that cover a very broad set of technologies like Windows, Linux, Network (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewall), MQ, Domain Controller, Azure services, SQL, Oracle.

Requirements:

• BA or MA degree.
• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Very good expertise and knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Red Hat Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems as well as VMware ESX solutions.
• Experience in multiple technologies like Network configuration (DNS, routing & netting, firewall, load balancing), SQL, Oracle, Active Directory, ADFS, Identity management, Terraform.
• ITIL and Scrum knowledge and understanding of key principles to make an application infrastructure secure.
• Good understanding of Continuous Integration principles.
• Proficient in English.
• Good communication skills, a positive attitude and a competitive, but team-oriented focus.
• Able to demonstrate ability to learn ICT technologies.
• Able to easily adapt to new circumstances/technologies/procedures.
• Stress resistant and constructive whatever the context.
• Able to deal with impediments in autonomy.
• Able to follow existing standards and act with attention to detail.
• A true great teammate who demonstrates good interpersonal skills.

Group Technology Services (GTS) plans, builds and runs the global infrastructure of Euroclear, and is additionally responsible for the IT service management to the operating entities of the various Group markets. Group Technology Services operates its IT systems and IT services in such a way that, at an appropriate and benchmarked cost level, it can deliver the agreed levels of service to support the requirements of the business processes, for both normal operations and during disaster recovery.
