CISO Solution Architect

Social network you want to login/join with: You will be joining the Security Architecture tribe within the Chief Information Security Office, responsible for implementing controls to protect our information assets effectively and efficiently. The tribe\’s main goal is to establish and promote security standards and methodologies to assist business and IT in achieving their objectives. This includes developing vision and strategy, ensuring best practices are known and consistently applied, and providing security principles and reference architectures. Role The Security Solution Architect is responsible for delivering comprehensive solution designs that span across IT divisions and security domains. This role involves defining and realizing architectural solutions that meet functional, non-functional, security, and resilience requirements. From conceptualization to implementation, you collaborate with requirement owners and domain architects, managing IT engineers and application experts to craft fit-for-purpose, high-quality end-to-end solutions. You serve as the link between Enterprise Architecture and IT feature designers and engineers, ensuring alignment of solutions with enterprise standards and domain architectures. You actively contribute to the development of Solution Architecture and Software Engineering practices within Euroclear by delivering reusable solution patterns and building blocks. Collaboration with CISO product owners to develop solutions for product requirements and services is also part of your role. You support the definition of domain target architectures and roadmaps, sharing your architecture expertise. Participation in communities of practice with other solution and domain architects is expected to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing. Profile Over a decade of experience in IT, with a proven track record with senior management, preferably with familiarity in the Financial Services sector and its regulatory landscape. Experience as an architect in Cyber Security projects, especially with extensive IAM programs. Led end-to-end execution of large-scale transformation initiatives, including the design, development, and deployment of critical transactional systems. Ability to handle systems and problems of varying complexity across functions, locations, and organizations. Proficiency in architectural analysis, providing pragmatic recommendations suited to the company\’s context. Capable of high-level strategic work (e.g., position papers, reference architectures) as well as technical problem-solving, advising enterprise and domain architects. Strong analytical skills for breaking down complex problems and structuring solutions. Excellent communication skills to advocate architecture recommendations to project teams and senior management. Ability to build relationships, mentor team members, and promote best practices in solution architecture. Knowledge of post-trade market infrastructures, Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe), Cyber Security Architecture, and RISK frameworks (SABSA, ISO 27001, NIST).
