An important new role to ensure that all products are delivered safely and efficiently, as per the instructions outlined by the Transport Planning Team.
Main Purpose of Role
To ensure that all products are delivered safely and efficiently, as per the instructions outlined by the Transport Planning Team.
Main Responsibilities
- Daily vehicle checks
- Delivery of products in a safe and efficient manner
- All tasks to be completed as instructed by the Transport Planner
- Responsible for making sure all delivery logs are signed and accounted for
Skills and Attributes
- Able to follow instructions
- Able to work in a safe manner both on site, and on the road
- Excellent timekeeping and time management
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK
- Able to strap and secure loads on both Flatbed and Curtain Sided Vehicles
- Strong customer service skills are advantageous
- A degree of flexibility to working hours within the working day
Qualifications
- HGV Class 1 Driving License with no endorsements
- Drivers CPC
- Digital Drivers Card
- RTITB Forklift Training Certification would be an advantage
- CSCS card would be an advantage
