Customer Service
CONTRACT TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
LOCATION: Office
The candidate will process orders in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating order and date amendments.
- Liaising with the relevant departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Responsible for ownership of orders/accounts ensuring no orders are in the past.
- Answering telephone calls/emails from customers or internal company departments.
- Inputting all customer orders on the company ERP System – SAP.
- Ensuring all order details are supplied by the customer and contacting customers where information is missing.
- Managing customer accounts and being the main point of contact for all order related queries.
- Managing quality checks on all orders.
- Managing daily reports ensuring there are no issues with orders.
- Controlling bulk order management and reducing bulks accordingly when cut length schedules are received, whilst also ensuring that bulk orders are phased correctly.
- Liaising with Planning, Transport, Sales, and Operations departments when required to effectively manage customer order requirements, to provide the best experience for the customer.
- Liaising with customers regarding delays due to manufacture/stock.
- Routing of complaints to the aftercare department.
- Updating customers when lead times cannot be met.
