Role Summary
We are looking for a Web Application Developer based at our Stevenage location. Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Eurochange's business systems, applications, and reporting.
Essential Technical Skills
- ASP.NET MVC with C# or VB.NET using Microsoft Visual Studio 2015
- Entity Framework (beneficial)
- Utilising third‑party APIs
- Microsoft SQL Server – managing tables, stored procedures, and views
- Writing and using web APIs
- Ability to use IIS
Desirable Skills
- Classic ASP with VBScript
- Ability to upgrade existing applications developed in older versions of Microsoft Visual Studio
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent (one should be English at grade C or above)
Candidate Experience
- Web design and development, troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Testing business systems and websites to ensure a good end‑user experience
- Design and develop new features and enhancements from specifications
