ROLE: Branch Supervisor

HOURS: 44 per Week - Permanent Role, 7am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, 8am - 12pm on a Saturday Rota

SALARY: £28,740 basic salary per year

BONUS/OTE: Realistic total earning potential of up to £33,540 per year

We are delighted to be recruiting a Branch Supervisor to work closely with the Branch Manager and Trade Counter colleagues to help deliver excellence.

Our Trade Branch Supervisors are hands‑on and lead by example to deliver excellence in customer service and operational standards, and develop strong relationships with customers to enhance the customer experience, whilst driving sales and market share. Our Trade Branch Network roles offer a host of benefits, unlike many other Trade Networks. We are working hard to support your work/life balance in the following ways:

WHAT OUR BRANCH SUPERVISORS DO:

  • Our Branch Supervisors are hands‑on, lead by example, and work closely with the Branch Manager in day to day branch operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers
  • Ensure excellence in customer service, operational standards and Branch sales targets are achieved
  • Support the delivery of sales targets whilst developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Assist with the delivery of branch operations
  • Provide support and assistance to Branch colleagues as required
  • Support the Branch Manager to ensure team complete actions and activities on time, and in full
  • Ensure Branch team compliance with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures
  • Undertake stocktakes and audits
  • Maintain maintenance records for Branch vehicles
  • Conduct Branch housekeeping for front of house, warehousing and merchanting

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR BRANCH SUPERVISORS:

  • Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets
  • A hands‑on customer focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers
  • A commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins, whilst ensuring our customers always walk away happy
  • Good organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and use own initiative
  • Confident IT user, with experience of MS Office and industry standard software eg SAP
  • A full and valid driving license is essential, and a FLT licence could be a distinct advantage
  • The ability to cover for the Branch Manager when required
  • Previous branch stock take experience could be a distinct advantage
  • Comfortable to work in a small team and on occasion, alone
  • Experience within a similar role ideally in a trade / builders merchant / retail, glazing or uPVC environment could be a distinct advantage
