Eurocell are a stock market listed Plc and the market leader for uPVC products within the building industry. We are delighted to be recruiting for a Category Manager within our Category team to manage a variety of products across our Trade Branch Network along with building supplier relationships through negotiation, terms, pricing and new products. Due to the nature of this role, there is flexibility for your working base to be at one of our Trade branches, with the requirement to attend Head Office as and when business needs arise.
WHAT OUR CATEGORY MANAGERS DO:
- Negotiate and Manage supplier terms, rebates along with regular reviews of supplier performance
- Analyse agreed budgets and ensure business performance targets are being met
- Liaise with Procurement and Stakeholders to regularly review compliance
- Regularly review pricing and negotiate best price
- Devise and implement range in strategies and margin opportunities
- Ensure new products are introduced and delivered to our Branch Network and Warehouse
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR CATEGORY MANAGERS:
- Previous Category Management and Supplier Negotiation experience
- Commercial awareness and experience with working towards budgets, targets and KPI's
- Confident interpreting data
- Experience in ranging new products, direct sourcing and spotting trends
- Ability to maximise Sales and Margin opportunities
