Role Overview
HOURS: 44 per week – Permanent (Mon‑Fri 7:00–16:30, Sat 8:00–12:00)
SALARY: £27,936 basic per year
BONUS/OTE: Realistic total earning potential up to £31,536 per year

What Our Trade Counter Assistants Do
- Hands‑on operations with Branch Manager and Supervisor
- Lead trade counter sales to achieve targets and communicate product knowledge confidently
- Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers
- Pick, load and deliver products via Eurocell 3.5‑tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans
- Plan routes, drive safely and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Support Branch Manager with timely actions and activities
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, company policies and procedures
- Achieve branch sales targets and maintain operational excellence
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Assist with branch operations including warehouse/stock management and front‑of‑house cleanliness
What We Need From Our Trade Counter Assistants
- Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets
- Hands‑on, customer‑focused approach, confident and proactive engagement
- Commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins
- Good organisational skills, prioritising and initiative
- Confident IT user; experience with MS Office and SAP
- Full and valid driving licence (FLT licence a distinct advantage)
- Previous branch stock‑take experience (advantageous)
- Comfortable working in a small team and on occasion alone
- Experience in trade / builders merchant / retail, glazing or uPVC environment (advantageous)
