What Our Team Leaders Do
- Support production management to implement and execute business improvement plans
- Support Shift Managers and the wider team to deliver shift performance targets
- Responsible for highlighting and implementing performance improvements
- Help develop a motivated team
- Ensure key safety activities (risk assessments, safe working practice etc.) are carried out
- Actively seek out and address Health Safety & Environmental issues
- Ensure production targets are achieved
- Capture and log shift performance data
- Ensure all finished and semi-finished goods are in accordance with the works order and quality guidelines
- Monitoring equipment condition and performance
- Attend daily production review meetings
What We Need From Our Team Leaders
- Experience of managing large teams within a Production, Manufacturing, or Extrusion facility
- Experience of developing and coaching successful teams
- Knowledge of delivering Process Improvements
- Recent experience of a fast‑paced environment, working under pressure
- A customer orientated attitude in line with company policies
- Excellent communication at all levels
