Job Role

Class 1 Driver (Up to 44 Tonne) – responsible for collecting and delivering UPVC plastic in various containers from around the country, bringing back to the site at Ilkeston. Deliver and collect products professionally, efficiently and effectively. Coordinate with the Transport Manager to ensure timings are met. Load and unload vehicles. Working Hours

40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 06:00–18:00.

Compensation

£15.07 per hour.

Qualifications

• Driver\’s CPC and 1 year of experience.
• Cat 1 licence.
• Tacho card.
• No more than 3 penalty points on licence.
• Comfortable with medium to heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and delivering UPVC plastic in different containers from around the country, bringing back to the site at Ilkeston.
• Internal bag loads to be shunted between sites at Ilkeston, Alfreton and Selby.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Provide holiday and sickness cover for running the Skip Lorry and Tanker.
• Deliver and collect products in a professional, efficient and effective manner.
• Liaise with the Transport Manager to ensure timings are met at all times.
