The predicted salary is between 29970 - 36483 £ per year.

This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed-term basis for 24 months. The starting salary will be from £33,951 on Grade E, depending on knowledge, skills and experience. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.

The primary role of this post is to provide administrative support to the Exeter Marine Research Network, working within a wider team to deliver seamless support to staff, industry partners, policy makers and conservation organisations across a wide range of general administrative areas.

More specifically, this role will involve:

  • Provide high-quality administrative support across Exeter Marine activities.
  • Maintain and manage email distribution lists and communication records.
  • Support the monitoring of budgets and expenditure, ensuring accurate record keeping.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of workflows and tracking of key actions to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
  • Respond to queries from external and internal stakeholders.

The role ensures the frontline delivery of professional services in a timely manner ensuring that business is delivered to deadlines. The post-holder must be able to plan and prioritise a busy and varied workload, will be expected to contribute to a range of key projects and activities, and will be capable of dealing with people at the highest level, both nationally and internationally.

In collaboration with the academic Faculties, the Education and Academic Services (EAS) Directorate provides all of the key administration and education support and enhancing activities that underpin the student experience from Welcome Week to Graduation.
