The predicted salary is between 28589 - 30339 £ per year.
This full-time post is available from immediately on a permanent basis. Applications for secondments will be considered, subject to agreement from your current line manager. The starting salary will be from £28,589 to £30,339 on Grade C, depending on knowledge, skills and experience, plus a monthly arboricultural allowance.
We are a dedicated team who are fortunate to be involved in delivering the full breadth of arboriculture as part of our service to the campuses at Streatham and St Luke's. We work to the highest arboricultural standards in an established landscape with both modern and historically significant planting, and we are driven by working towards a broad range of goals that are mentally and physically rewarding in a healthy way.
Your role, should you join us, will focus on all expected seasonal work across the tree stock, and the many iconic specimens and champion species across the campus, establishing young trees for the future. The right person for the role will have a passion for the industry as a whole and feel comfortable in having their views and ideas heard amongst the team as we lay out the future planning of the grounds within its planted landscape, dating back to the mid-1800s.
A successful candidate will have a desire for high standards of presentation and be able to demonstrate this as part of the application and interview process. We are proud custodians of our 150 hectares of gardens and grounds, having just gained botanic garden status. We are looking for somebody to join our small motivated and busy team to help us deliver the highest standards of arboriculture.
