These full‑time posts are available from 1 August on a permanent basis. The starting salary will be from £30,628 on Grade D depending on knowledge, skills and experience. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. We’re looking for 2 organised, personable administrators to join the Academic Support Administration (ASA) Team. You’ll be the first point of contact for academics with day‑to‑day queries and provide operational support to Heads of Department. This is a varied role and we’re a small, friendly team – so flexibility and a collaborative approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements for Heads of Department
- Expense claims, purchase orders, in compliance with university financial and HR policies
- Onboarding new starters and managing office operations including room bookings, IT equipment, and parking permits
- Coordinating Vivas, Programme Boards, internal events, and guest speaker series
- Temporary staffing and Postgraduate Teaching Assistant (PTA) administration
- Producing the fortnightly UEBS newsletter and scanning/distributing MCQ results
