The primary purpose of this leader is to ensure complete client success and satisfaction in the implementation of our products, whether delivered by a team member or directly by the Head of Business Consultancy.

The role is accountable for:

  • Driving effective collaboration with other Insurance and Group teams to achieve shared objectives, modelling Eurobase’s values of Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Excellence in all interactions.
  • Developing the expertise, training, documentation and processes necessary to maximise the effectiveness and consistency of our Business Consultants.
  • Partnering closely with the Product Owner to identify and prioritise features that add measurable value for our customers, using structured market and client insight.

The Business Consultant team is responsible for understanding and analysing client requirements and supporting the definition and shaping of customer projects alongside the Sales team, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and that the business solution is mapped effectively to these needs. This role oversees the activities and performance of each Business Consultant in a project team environment on either Eurobase or client premises, which may include overseas travel. Some travel may be required.

Key Result Areas

  1. Provide Excellent Product and Business Expertise
    • Oversee or lead Implementation Studies, ensuring workshop outputs translate into clearly mapped business solutions that drive client confidence and reduce post-go-live remediation.
    • Act as the primary authority on (re)insurance capabilities, advising on solution design decisions and collaborating with the Product Owner to balance standard product, configuration and bespoke development.
    • Act as a primary source of structured market intelligence, translating evolving (re)insurance and London Market needs into Synergy2 roadmap contributions with clear business justification.
    • Demonstrate learning agility by seeking feedback from clients, partners and internal stakeholders and applying these insights to continuously improve our products and implementation approach.
  2. Drive Commercial and Pre-Sales Success Through Domain Expertise and Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Business Development across the full sales lifecycle — from prospect qualification through to proposal sign-off — ensuring Synergy2 is positioned accurately against client requirements.
    • Oversee discovery and demonstration engagements with prospects, clearly articulating Synergy2’s value proposition and differentiating it against competing solutions through compelling, audience-appropriate communication.
    • Review commercially sound proposals that accurately reflect scope, cost and delivery timescales, ensuring that internal governance and approval processes are followed.
    • Represent Eurobase at industry events and contribute to marketing collateral (blogs, whitepapers, webinars) to build market profile in the (re)insurance and London Market.
    • Role-model collaborative behaviours by sharing insight openly and building strong relationships with Sales, Product, Delivery and Support to achieve collective outcomes.
  3. Own and Develop Senior Client Relationships to Protect and Grow Account Health
    • Oversee structured review cadences with each client, tracking adoption, satisfaction and roadmap alignment, and ensuring clients are deriving measurable value from the product.
    • Monitor project health across the live client base, identifying at-risk requirements early and driving escalation and remediation plans before issues affect delivery.
    • Act as the senior escalation point for project scope and requirement concerns, ensuring timely and fair resolution without damaging relationships or contracted commitments.
    • Demonstrate courage and confidence in difficult conversations, balancing commercial outcomes with integrity, transparency and respect for all parties.
  4. Lead, Develop and Performance-Manage the Business Consultant Team
    • Set clear, measurable performance expectations for each Business Consultant, aligned to the Eurobase Leadership Framework and Eurobase values.
    • Provide regular feedback, coaching and development support to build a high-performing consultancy practice, acting as a visible Talent Manager for the team.
    • Build and maintain Business Consultant assets — implementation methodology, playbooks, training materials and onboarding documentation — to drive delivery consistency and reduce project risk.
    • Foster psychological safety within the team by encouraging ideas, constructive challenge and continuous improvement, ensuring everyone feels respected and valued.
    • Identify, develop and sponsor future leaders within the Business Consultant community, ensuring a strong leadership pipeline in line with Eurobase’s long-term business needs.
  5. Champion Eurobase Values and Leadership Behaviours
    • Model Collaboration by working across functions, locations and levels, building trusting relationships and promoting shared problem-solving.
    • Demonstrate Accountability by being honest about what can be achieved, learning from mistakes and taking ownership for decisions, actions and results.
    • Show Respect by treating colleagues, clients and partners with fairness and empathy, actively seeking diverse viewpoints and creating an inclusive environment.
    • Role-model Excellence by consistently striving to exceed expectations in the quality of products, services and interactions, and by setting and upholding high standards of delivery.
    • Act as a visible “compass” for integrity, ensuring behaviours are aligned with Eurobase values and addressing any disconnects swiftly and constructively.
  6. Compliance, Conduct and Professional Standards
    • Comply with all mandatory Health & Safety, GDPR and information security obligations, completing required training within stated deadlines and modelling expected standards for the team.
