Join our Finance team as an Accounts Payable/Treasury Accountant at our Haverhill manufacturing site on a temporary basis for 12 months. The Accounts Payable/Treasury Accountant is a key role supporting the finance team’s objectives and ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations. It will involve processing and reconciling accounts payable transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with cash management activities such as bank reconciliations, payment processing, and liquidity forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial systems. The Accounts Payable/Treasury Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s financial obligations and supporting treasury operations to ensure efficient cash flow and financial stability.

  • Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
    • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate terms, and address any billing issues.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
    • Prepare financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
  • Treasury Responsibilities:
    • Cash Management: Support the company’s cash flow, including managing bank accounts and ensuring sufficient liquidity.
    • Forecasting: Support preparation of cash flow forecasts and financial projections.
    • Compliance: Support compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
    • Support preparation of treasury reports.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) would be advantageous. Proven experience in accounts payable & treasury functions. Proficiency in accounting software.
