Tornado Industries, a division of Summit Steel and Wire, is a well-established and highly successful manufacturer and distributor of high-quality steel gates. We offer a wide range of gates to the rural market including the largest Deer gate range in New Zealand.
We are currently looking for a Cut and Bend operator / Gate Painter to join our small but productive team. Our roles are hands-on with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, high productivity, and excellent quality.

About the Job
- Handle wire and steel products safely and efficiently.
- Operate all hand tools, machinery and test equipment appropriately and safely.
- Work cohesively with team members and others to identify and eliminate problems in the installation process and assist in the improvements of installation procedures and productivity.
- Assist in maintaining a healthy and safe working environment wherever work is being performed.
Job Requirements
- Full NZ Driving License (Preferred).
- Preferred experience in the handling of steel or heavy products.
- Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment.
