Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment
- Oversee all aspects of food production, from ingredient sourcing to final presentation
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless serving and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation efficiently
- Lead by example in culinary techniques, kitchen organization, and customer service excellence
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary innovation
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Deep understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Extensive kitchen experience across diverse cuisines and menu types
- Effective leadership qualities with the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully
- Knowledge of hospitality operations, serving procedures, and customer engagement strategies
