Cover Supervisor / Unqualified Teacher – Permanent
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor you will supervise lessons across a range of subjects during the short‑term absence of staff, deliver pre‑planned learning, maintain high expectations for behaviour and ensure students remain engaged and on track.
You will quickly become a trusted member of the school community, building positive relationships with students and colleagues while contributing to wider school initiatives.
When not covering lessons you will work alongside departments and pastoral teams to support intervention programmes, student development and other school initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a school, tutoring, coaching or a similar educational environment.
- Confidence and presence to lead a classroom.

- Consistent and positive management of behaviour.
