Role Overview
Support engineering projects through technical design, planning, and infrastructure development services.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed civil and infrastructure designs using Auto CAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Micro Station, and Schematics software.
- Manage project workflows from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and specifications.
- Prepare accurate system design documentation, including schematics, technical drawings, and land survey plans.
- Utilise Arc GIS for spatial analysis and mapping to support project planning and implementation.
- Coordinate with land surveyors to integrate survey data into design models effectively.
- Oversee project management tasks such as scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure designs are feasible and compliant with safety standards.
- Conduct site visits for land surveying, system inspections, and project assessments as required.
- Maintain organised records of all design files, reports, and project documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in civil or infrastructure engineering design with a strong portfolio of CAD-based projects.
Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Micro Station, Arc GIS, and Mathcad is essential.
Demonstrated ability in project management within engineering environments.
Practical knowledge of land surveying techniques and integration into design workflows.
Experience with system design for infrastructure projects and the creation of detailed schematics.
Construction experience is highly desirable to understand on-site challenges and practical constraints.
Familiarity with CAD standards and best practices for technical documentation is required.
