Overview

Design Coordinator – Euro Staffs, London, ENG, GB.

Full‑time onsite position at Welltower, a global leader in residential wellness and healthcare infrastructure.

The role focuses on managing large‑scale design solutions for senior living residential real‑estate within the UK portfolio (England, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland).

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of multiple design projects from design development through construction management and installation.
  • Source furniture, fabrics, fixtures and finishes in line with project needs, design vision and budget.
  • Develop furniture, fabric and material studies for in‑house designers.
  • Prepare and maintain finish schedules, specifications, furnishing budgets, product logs and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors and operators to support project execution.
  • Assist with scheduling installations, field verification and punch‑list completion.
  • Attend design presentations, progress meetings, frame walks, installations, final walks and follow‑up meetings.
  • Maintain project documentation and records, and assist with processing vendor invoices for payment.
  • Build productive relationships with clients, design showrooms, vendors and operator partners.
  • Stay current with design trends, materials, building codes, regulations and industry standards relevant to residential and commercial design.
  • Use design tools such as Auto CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Microsoft Office, Sketch Up and Design Manager.
  • Escalate project issues requiring design decisions to the Interior Design Manager.
  • Assist the VP of Design and the Creative Designer with special design projects as necessary.
  • Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Preferred background in hospitality, multi‑family and commercial design; senior living design experience is not required.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Auto CAD, In Design, Photoshop, Power Point and Sketch Up.
  • Understanding of Building and ADA codes and related regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization and deadline‑management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Active and unrestricted motor vehicle license; travel (including overnight trips and flights) is required.
  • Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen.

Regular travel (up to 50%) to properties throughout the region and to regional offices as needed.
