KITCHEN ASSISTANT / SERVER (CAREER PATH TO CHEF)

Chuffin Stuffed is moving to a new location and growing and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us. We’re a fast‑paced, high‑energy street‑food brand serving quality comfort food with pride. Based in York, we’re known for our flavours, our standards, and our personality.
What we’re looking for
- Someone with experience in a kitchen or food service environment
- Level 2 Food Safety (or willing to complete it, we’ll support you)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Someone who wants career progression and is excited about becoming a chef
- Flexibility to work 20–45 hours per week, depending on business needs
- A friendly, confident presence — you’ll be one of the faces of Chuffin Stuffed
- A strong work ethic, you’ll also be supporting Danny, our owner and head chef, in the kitchen

- Assisting with food preparation and cooking
- Running the pass and supporting smooth service
- Serving customers with warmth and confidence
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Learning new skills and techniques directly from an experienced chef
- Being part of a small, tight‑knit team where your contribution genuinely matters
