Position Summary: Full‑time, on‑site position with Bright Horizons Golders Green Day Nursery and Preschool. Salary: Starting from £29,432 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience). Hours: Full time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Location: Golders Green, London.

Setting: The 53‑place setting is based in a lovely, converted house and benefits from plenty of resources for the children to use and enjoy, including cosy reading corners, imagination stations and a spacious garden area with sandpit and playhouse.

Key Responsibilities: As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will engage children through interactive play, activities, reading, and support their development towards key milestones. As a SEN Support Early Years Assistant, you’ll work closely with three children with SEN needs in the Pre‑school room, offering support across various points of the day.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder, or similar.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
