For a data centre in Bracknell, Berkshire, we need a mechanical QA Engineer for a fit out project. Duration is expected to be 6 months & this will start mid-June. You must be within commutable distance to Bracknell.
Client
Our client are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Mainland Europe, the Nordics and the UK. They are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation.
Role
- Review & Witness System Testing, inspection of systems installations and completion of system test pack & hand over dossier
- Review Installations for Compliance to clients Quality plans, standards, specification, design, procedures & expectations
- Liaise with the site Construction Teams throughout the installation process
- Complete regular site quality audits
- Ensure procedures comply with the Company’s and Client’s Health and Safety regulations
- Daily visual inspection of mechanical fabrication including fabrication quality and accuracy, weld quality and compliance, paint quality and compliance, packing and protection
- Implementation of System Inspection & Test Plans
- Attend quality meetings with management and subcontractors and report on quality
- Implementation of Company Quality Control systems

- Must be local enough to commute
