For Kendal, Cumbria, we need local Assembly Operatives to start immediately for long term work at our client’s production facility. Training will be provided so no previous experience is required.
Role and responsibilities:
- Manual handling of Aluminium housings and Copper and Aluminium busbars of varying mass
- Preparation of assembly materials (Use of Stanley knives / scissors)
- Light hand machining (Use of grinders / finishing papers)
- Masking of housings and busbars prior to powder coating
- Use of hand tools i.e. De-burring tools, spanners, sockets, screwdrivers, rivet guns & inserting machines
- Assembly of busbar trunking to exacting standards
- Packaging product for dispatch
Requirements:
- Must be local to the area
Pay:
- £12.40 p/hr normal hours Mon-Fri
- £18.60 p/hr Mon-Fri overtime
- £18.60 p/hr for weekends (first 5 hours)
- £24.80 p/hr for weekends (after the first 5 hours)
Working Hours:
- Monday - Thursday start between 7.30-8.30 & finish between 16.30-17.30
- On Friday either 8:00 or 8.30 start & finish between 13:00-15:00.
- Overtime will be available on top of this.
