We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Workshop Controller / Service Advisor to join a dynamic workshop team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in keeping a busy workshop running smoothly and ensuring customers continue to receive the top-quality service the business is known for.

Over the past few years, the workshop business area of the business has grown significantly, and they have exciting plans to grow further. You will be joining a highly experienced management team that will support you every step of the way.

Your background as a Workshop Controller / Service Advisor:

  • You may have some previous experience in a Workshop Controller / Workshop Coordinator / Workshop Supervisor / Service Advisor role, but the role may also suit a Vehicle Technician or Workshop Technician looking to develop their future career in more of a team leader / management position.
  • You will have previously worked in vehicle workshop or vehicle service & repair, or vehicle maintenance environment (any vehicle type).
  • You will have good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Workshop Controller / Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the workshop team to keep daily operations efficient and productive.
  • Quoting, scheduling, and invoicing workshop jobs (internal and external).
  • Ensuring workshop equipment and tools are well-maintained and in top working condition.
  • Overseeing maintenance schedules and addressing repairs as needed.
  • Liaising directly with customers to provide exceptional service and resolve queries.
  • Managing stock levels of tools and materials.
