Are you an experienced Tool Setter / Press Setter looking for a steady role with good hourly pay and consistent work?
Tool Setter Role:- Set mechanical presses up to 50 tons
- Set hydraulic presses up to 200 tons (Lagan press experience an advantage)
- Set and operate double action and fly presses
- Operate presses on development or small batch work when required
- Work from technical drawings and maintain quality standards
- Maintain tooling organisation, housekeeping and HSE standards
- Communicate with the Works Manager and Operations team
- Proven press setting experience (mechanical / hydraulic / fly presses)
- Able to work accurately to drawings
- Quality-driven and safety-focused
- Organised approach to press shop tooling
- Lathe experience beneficial but not essential
This Tool Setter Job is based in Walsall and is commutable from Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Aldridge, Cannock, Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & surrounding areas.
