Your background as a Telecoms Design Engineer:

  • Good general knowledge of engineering design e.g., general arrangement drawings, schematic diagrams, loop diagrams etc.
  • Able to read, interpret, and produce engineering designs and drawings.
  • Able to produce project documentation e.g., functional design specifications, test procedures, drawings etc.
  • Any specific experience of working on rail telecoms, rail systems, control systems, electrical systems, automation systems projects would be beneficial.
  • You will hold a relevant qualification (Apprenticeship / HNC / HND / Degree) in an engineering discipline.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple people and disciplines within the business.
