Your background as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer:
- Vast experience in manufacturing engineering or similar, ideally within a precision engineering environment.
- Proven experience with CNC machining (turning and milling up to 5-axis), programming in Fanuc and Heidenhain.
- Skilled in offline programming (VISI CAM preferred), 3D modelling (SolidWorks/Visi).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, materials, and machining processes.
- Comfortable planning and implementing new manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixturing.
Senior Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities:
- Lead new product introduction and process improvement with a focus on lean manufacturing.
- Develop robust manufacturing processes and process documentation.
- Support production, quality, and machining teams with technical problem-solving.
- Engage with customers to deliver engineered solutions and technical support.
- Assist with fixture and tooling design, CNC programming, and CI activities.
- Produce 3D models and drawings for manufacture.
- Ensure maximum Right First Time (RFT) and On Time In Full (OTIF) performance.
