This Product Development Engineer job will suit:
- A proven Engineer with both mechanical and electrical projects experience.
- Comfortable with mechanical CAD design (Solidworks) and basic circuit designs.
- Wider experience supporting projects from concept through to design.
- Flexible in nature, sometimes the role will be heavily design focused, other stages of the project will require more hands-on support with regards to testing, assembly etc.
- PCB Design would be advantageous, but not essential.

The Product Development Engineer job will involve:
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD (Solidworks).
- Design and support electrical/electronic subsystems (PCB layout coordination, wiring harnesses, sensors etc).
- Build and test prototypes.
- Select components and materials based on cost, manufacturability, and performance.
- Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
