Working for a UK based specialist manufacturing business who supply industrial automation machinery & systems. Newly created role, a lot of recent success and a strong order book has meant the business needs an experienced service engineer.
A background in automation, machinery, packaging, conveyors, robotics systems ideally.
Midlands based head office, travel throughout the UK. First project is based on site in Huntingdon for 3 - 4 months.
This Service Engineer job will suit: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer or similar. You will be accustomed to travelling to customer manufacturing sites across the UK.
Technically astute (Mechanical / Electrical split), good knowledge of Manufacturing & Production machinery specifically industrial automation, packaging machines, conveyors, robotics or similar.
You could work in a related industry; Automotive, Food & Process, Distribution, Packaging or similar.
Strong leadership and communication skills are required as you will need to manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders including onsite colleagues, sub contractors, customers etc.
Able to travel to customer sites with a full UK driving license.
