This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager to work at the forefront of innovation in a fast-growing, technology-led environment. An excellent opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager to join an engineering and technology business expanding their engineering capability to support the development of products for both UK and international markets.
Your background as a Project Manager:
- Previous experience of successfully leading and delivering engineering projects from start to finish ideally within an engineering design and development, research and development or similar engineering environment.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic and R&D focused engineering environment where you will be overseeing engineering projects through design, prototype development, test stages and into production.
- Any specific experience of real-time and/or embedded software systems or similar technologies would be advantageous but not essential.
- Likely to hold a relevant qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Must be eligible for UK security clearance (British or European nation passport holder).
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Project management and delivery of engineering projects from concept through production with a focus on the real-time and embedded software elements of projects.
- Forecasting and managing project resources, budgets, and timelines.
- Managing project risks and resolving issues as appropriate.
- Provide input into bids, which could include planning, scope definition and costings.
