We are looking for a CAD Engineer to join our Engineering team in Hinckley. This CAD Engineer role includes some hands-on work, so you will be in both the engineering office and the innovation test workshop, offering a variety of work activities and the chance to see your designs come to life.
As a CAD Engineer, you will support our current product range through high-quality 3D modelling and 2D drawing work, playing a key role in the Engineering Change Process and maintaining the accuracy of our technical data systems. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to New Product Development (NPD) projects from time to time. This is a great opportunity for a Design Engineer or CAD Engineer who enjoys working across both technical design and practical implementation.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce and update 3D models and 2D drawings for existing products
- Support the Engineering Change Process with accurate documentation
- Maintain high standards in drawing and technical data systems
- Collaborate with Engineering and Workshop teams on product improvements and NPD
Skills & Experience
- Proficient in CAD software ideally SolidWorks
- Experience producing 3D models and 2D technical drawings
- Ability to create customer-facing technical information and communicate changes clearly to customers and distributor partners
- Understanding of engineering change processes and technical documentation
- Comfortable working in both office and workshop environments
- Background in mechanical engineering or similar technical field
