Are you a Commercial Catering Engineer, catering equipment engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or Multi-Skilled Catering & Refrigeration Engineer looking to step into a highly influential role where you'll help shape standards, mentor others, and drive best practice?
Your background as a Commercial Catering Engineer:
- Fully trained and multi-skilled in commercial catering & refrigeration equipment, with strong technical capability across breakdowns, diagnostics, PPM and installations.
- Gas Safe registered (commercial) and some form of electrical qualification (e.g., 18th Edition, C&G 2365 or equivalent).
- F-Gas certified (City & Guilds or NVQ) desirable.
- Solid electrical skills fault finding, testing, wiring, and installation experience.
- Passionate about delivering high standards, exceptional customer service, and maintaining safe, compliant working practices.
Commercial Catering Engineer responsibilities:
- Carry out PPM, reactive repairs, diagnostics and installations across catering and refrigeration equipment (water boilers, ovens, fryers, ware-washing appliances, fridges, freezers, ice machines, blast chillers etc.).
- Managing and maintaining accurate van stock levels.
- Lead by example on technical quality, productivity, customer service and safe working.
- Mentor and support trainee engineers, guiding their development and sharing best practice.
