£40,000 to £45,000 salary guide + bonus + pension + 25 days holiday + private healthcare & more.

Working hours: 08:30am – 17:30pm. Hybrid flexibility available (3 days in office, 2 from home).

Are you a hands‑on CAD Engineer with both electrical and mechanical design experience? Are you able to create accurate technical drawings that support manufacturing and engineering projects?

Your background as an Electromechanical CAD Engineer :

• HND / HNC, apprenticeship, or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, or design engineering.
• Around 5 years experience working in a CAD‑based design role.
• Confident creating 2D and 3D drawings for electrical panels, wiring, or mechanical assemblies.
• Familiar with AutoCAD or other Electrical CAD software (e.g. SEE Electrical, ETAP, SolidWorks Electrical).
• Good understanding of industry drawing standards (BS7671, BS8888:2017).
• Ideally some knowledge of Defence or other highly regulated industries.
• Must be eligible for SC Security Clearance (UK work & residency required).

Electromechanical CAD Engineer Responsibilities :

• Produce clear and accurate electrical and mechanical drawings to support engineering and production.
• Work closely with project and engineering teams to turn ideas and layouts into detailed CAD models.
• Support new product designs, layouts, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Help maintain CAD standards and best practices within the team.
• Occasionally assist with design documentation and part lists (BOMs).

This Electromechanical CAD Engineer role is commutable from Redhill, Crawley, Epsom, Croydon, Sevenoaks, and surrounding areas in Surrey.
