Qualifications
- Your Background as a Hydraulics Technician A relevant automotive or engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, IMI or equivalent).
- Experience with prestige or luxury marques (Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin or similar), or knowledge of classic/older vehicles, would be advantageous.
- A background in unit/parts assembly, sub-assembly, refurbishment, reconditioning or remanufacturing would be advantageous.
- High attention to detail with a methodical, structured approach and confidence working to high standards.
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions (full training will be provided).
Responsibilities
- Strip, clean, inspect, measure, rebuild and test hydraulic components in line with workshop manuals and company procedures.
- Recondition and test units to a high standard suitable for sale.
- Maintain workshop equipment, tools and a clean, safe working environment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues where required.
- Assist with research and development of new products and processes.
- Accurately complete job cards, timesheets and related documentation, in line with health & safety and PPE requirements.
